This is TOSSI’s last community planting day for 2022.
Every year, Tāwharanui Open Sanctuary Society Inc (TOSSI) grows plants from seeds collected in the park. Then we have to get those seedlings into the earth and we need you.
TOSSI volunteers, park rangers and people of all ages who want to contribute to the biodiversity of Aotearoa will be mucking in at our beautiful Regional Park and planting about 5,000 native seedings.
Wear good, enclosed boots or shoes and weather-appropriate clothing and bring a spade if you have one. We’ll supply the lunch, with vegetarian options.
