Join us for a kiwi listening evening at Mataia (Glorit) on Sat 20 May – (weather permitting). Kiwi Listening. The date is:- Saturday 20th May with a postponement date of Sunday 21st May.
Arriving at 5.00pm before heading out to listening sites. What Happens at a kiwi listening evening:- We meet at about 5.00pm to sort out where each group will go. This gives us time to make our way to the site, get settled, and ready to listen. The birds usually start to call about half an hour after sunset. We listen until about 8.00pm but if you are only able to come for an hour or so thatâs fine, just let us know. We need fine and preferably still weather for this to go ahead.
What you will need:- Warm clothing and sturdy footwear Good hearing 
Snacks and a drink Something to sit on
