About the event
Sunday 7th June | 10:00am – 1:00pm | Martin’s Bay
Join us for a large-scale community planting event focused on restoring a formerly grazed wetland adjacent to Martin’s Bay Campground. This site is an important part of the local landscape, and this work will help bring back native vegetation, improve habitat for wildlife, and support long-term ecological restoration in the area.
We’ll meet in the car park by the campground at 10am for a short briefing before heading on site.
To celebrate and thank volunteers, a BBQ will be provided after planting.
All volunteers are welcome—no experience needed, just bring your energy and willingness to get involved.
What to bring: Good sturdy footwear (essential), a water bottle, and gloves if you have them. Spades will be provided.
