We are planting 7,130 sq/m with 4,481 plants on a Takatu Rd Farm. The spraying and fencing is underway, the plants are ordered, now we need a lot of volunteers!

About the event
Join us for a planting day in a critical wetland/fen ecosystem and contribute to biodiversity gains and improved water quality in the Whangateau/Omaha upper harbour estuary.
Located in one of Auckland Council’s Biodiversity Focus Areas, this year’s Eco Restoration project at Frasers Farm will plant 4,500 native plants across 7,128 m² of wetland. We just need volunteers—bring as many friends and family as you can!

Where: Frasers Farm (near Matakana Country Park)
Parking: Limited- please carpool. Meet at Matakana Country Park to organise rideshares.
It could be pretty wet underfoot so gumboots are recommended or very sturdy boots.
