A day at the park with Kim King

On May 1st Restore Rodney East spent the afternoon showing off our beautiful rohe to Professor Kim King. Part of that included teaming up with the Auckland Council Northern Regional Parks team and TOSSI volunteers.
Kim was delighted by the energy enthusiasm of the team, the sharing of knowledge and experience definitely went both ways. A guided tour by Matt Maitland (Senior Ranger Open Sanctuaries) took us to some of the bird life hot spots, this was a special experience to remember for us all. Special thanks to Georgia Pringle for grabbing this opportunity with both hands.
